Leesha you are having the same problem I was having. There are actually longer studs you can buy so that dont happen. I wouldnt know what else to do besides that because like I said thats all I did and it helped. Mine was getting really bad too cause where the circle was it was turning raw on the inside of my mouth…Good Luck though. Hope you find something that works.
